About The Event
This event begins on a beautiful August morning at Whittier Narrows "Legg Lake" Park. As you warm up for the event, you can hear music and laughter while you smell delicious menudo. The starting horn blows and you begin your run with over 400 runners though the scenic lake side dirt trail. Birds, squirrel and ducks are a few friends you meet along the way.
When you reach the finish line, cheers from the Girl Scouts are received and that is just the beginning. Menudo, Raffle Prizes, Medal Ceremony and Fine Craft Beer from Chino Valley Brewery is free to all paid registrants. Be a part of history.
What is included with your registration? An event T-Shirt, Runners Bag with goodies. End of race water, a banana, bowl of menudo, a cup of draft beer and vendors with samples, information and a free raffle ticket for the various items raffled and donated by sponsors, members and other organizations.
